Privacy Policy for Theraluxtouch Mobile App

At theraluxVET Oy, we are dedicated to safeguarding the privacy and confidentiality of your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you use our mobile app, Theralux Touch, and its services.

Data we collect

1.      Personal Data
The app does not collect any personally identifiable information. User data is not stored by us or any third parties. We do not share any user data with third parties for analytics, advertising, or any other purposes.

2.      Account Details
The app does not collect the username, password, preferences, or any other type of information while using the app.

3.      Location Data
The app uses Bluetooth and location services to communicate with an external device (laser therapy device). No Bluetooth or location information is collected, stored, or shared. These services are only used to enable device connections while the app is in use.

4.      Device settings data
Theralux Touch  settings and history data are stored locally on the user phone. None of the information is sent to the third party. All data remains under the user’s control and is stored only on their device. We do not transmit or store any information externally.

5.      Data Collected by App Store Platforms

While we do not collect or store personal data ourselves, our app is distributed through third-party platforms such as Google Play and the Apple App Store. These platforms may collect and process user data in accordance with their own privacy policies and may retain such data on servers located outside the European Union, including in the United States.

Data Retention and Deletion

The app does not collect or store user data on external servers. All app settings and device connection history are stored locally on the user’s device.  Users can delete this information at any time by uninstalling the app. We do not retain any user data after deletion.

Security of Your Data

We do not collect or transmit any personal or sensitive data. All data used by the app remains local to the device and is not accessible to us or third parties.  The app is designed to minimize data use and does not require login, cloud sync, or remote access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be posted with the app on our website, and we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of the policy.
